The Adventurer™ balances are constructed with a durable housing, leveling feet, built-in leveling bubble, and a large custom LCD. Control buttons are clearly marked as to their function. The large "TARE" buttons located on either side of the front panel makes this scale perfect for left or right-handed people. Simple, three-button operation (including a separate print button) eliminates the need for extensive training. As easy
to use as they are precise. Ohaus Adventurer™ balances are
ideal for general laboratory, industrial and educational applications
requiring multiple weighing modes. The Adventurer™ balance
offers 17 different weighing modes - gram, kilogram, milligram, carat,
newton, pound, ounce, troy ounce, grain, penny weight, momme, mesghal,
Hong Kong Tael, Taiwan Tael, Singapore Tael, Tical, and Parts Counting.
Ohaus Adventurer™ balances are the economical choice to your precision
weighing needs. Easy Calibration. Just place the calibration mass(optional accessory) on the platform and press a button and your Adventurer™ is calibrated. To tare, place a container on the platform and push either the right or left tare button to reset the display to zero, then add your sample. The stability indicator tells you when the reading is stable. Designed to withstand rugged use with a sealed front panel, spill ring, durable housing, shock absorbing pan, and a big bright LCD. A weigh below hook is included for below balance weighing. All models are covered by a two year limited manufacturers warranty. Standard Features include a large LCD display, large stainless steel weighing surface, ergonomic leveling system, bi-directional RS232 interface, easy three-button operation, weigh below hook, contoured top and spill gutters to direct spills away from the display, stability indicator, error indicator, 4 inch high draft shield on 150g and 310g models.
